A photo of the bar fare at the London venue during Thursday night’s Premier League Darts final went viral on social media.

While the 14,000-strong crowd enjoyed top quality oche action with 17-year-old sensation Luke Littler lifting the trophy, they were ripped off when it came to liquid refreshment.

More ‘premium’ beers cost even more, with Camden Pale Ale costing £9.25 and Camden Hells Lager £9.50.

Teenager Littler continued his astonishing progress by beating Luke Humphries – who beat him in the World Cup final – 11-7 to claim his first television title.

World No. 1 Humphries could only watch in admiration as Littler hit an incredible nine-darter on his way to victory, his fourth of 2024. Littler pocketed £275,000 in prize money.

Speaking to Sky Sports after the win, Littler said: ‘To all the doubters, you don’t doubt me anymore! I just picked this up.

‘It’s so good to win, but in front of my family and my girlfriend! I don’t know what to do.

“I hit a nine-darter in the World Series and so did Phil [Taylor] – now I hit one here in the final, and so did he.’
