Former UFC fighter Darren Till has called out Ian Garry after a video emerged of the Irishman struggling to speak on the phone.

Garry was ruled out of his UFC 296 fight against Brazilian Vicente Luque after suffering from pneumonia.

The 13-0 welterweight was a no-show for media day commitments in Las Vegas on Wednesday and confirmed the fight has been halted as he continues to battle illness.

It remains to be seen whether Luque can find a late replacement for the fight, but American Kevin Holland has offered to step in after already calling out Garry for his no-show.

Now Till has done the same after footage emerged of Garry struggling to speak on the phone during an interview.

Garry was interviewed by TNT Sports and made a phone call, but throughout the conversation it was clear he was having difficulty speaking.

“The Future” opened the call by saying, “I can barely breathe, it's disturbing, it's annoying,” it's annoying,” and continued to pause throughout the interview.

Meanwhile, Till has taken to social media site X to call out the rising Irish star: 'I'm not buying this, I'll be honest.'

Garry has yet to comment on the Englishman, who is currently navigating his life away from the UFC as a free agent.

It comes after a tumultuous run-up to this UFC 296 clash that saw Ireland's rising star face a brighter spotlight than ever.

His wife Layla Machado Garry's 2010 short book “How to be a WAG” resurfaced and led to fans and fellow fighters like Sean Strickland and Colby Covington posting a number of taunts.

Garry is a rising star and is even considered by some to be the next Conor McGregor due to his outspoken and brash personality

Garry later revealed that he was concerned about his family's safety during his trips to the US after some of the abuse.

The main character on this UFC card is Leon Edwards, who wants to defend his title against the outspoken American Covington.

There will be even more British interest in Las Vegas when Paddy 'The Baddy' Pimblett takes on Tony Ferguson.

The eccentric American's career in the UFC cage is believed to be on life support, and the English fighter could end his stint in the sport if the younger Pimblett comes out on top in emphatic fashion.
