A childless woman has sparked a heated argument after explaining why she prefers to be friends with people who don’t have children.

She said there’s “nothing wrong” with having friends who are parents, as she has many herself, but she likes to spend time with people without kids who live similar lifestyles to her.

Her hot shots have confused some parents, but many fellow kid-free viewers agree.

“Every time I talk about childless people wanting childfree friends, I get this kind of reaction from the moms,” Danni said in response to a comment on one of her videos.

Despite not wanting children, Danni has many parent friends, sees her young nieces often, and used to work with children as a speech therapist.

“I think an important thing that people miss is that we choose to be childless, choose to have a lifestyle that doesn’t include children,” she explained in a TikTok clamp.

“So if all our friends have kids, you can see how that doesn’t really fit together.”

Danni clarified that wanting to have child-free friends doesn’t mean she doesn’t want to be with her friends with kids, but it’s easier to organize get-togethers with those without.

“It would be great to have friends who choose the same lifestyle as us so we don’t have to work out our social times around bedtime, around dinnertime and around school holidays,” she said.

Thousands of viewers applauded Danni for hitting back at her critics with a comment, “Similarly, new moms want other mom friends.”

Danni hit back after people criticized her for making her childless lifestyle her “whole personality.” She said she creates “niche” content for an online community of childless people

“My friends with kids are usually too busy to hang out. Not their fault, but I’d like to have friends I can actually spend time with,’ another replied.

“Completely normal, need friends who have things in common,” a third wrote.

“How dare we want friends with whom we have a relationship!” joked a fourth.

Danni also had to defend herself after people criticized her for making her childless lifestyle her “whole personality.”

She said she has used her platform to create a community for childless people online and that is no different than mother bloggers.

“In case you didn’t know, people on social media do something like a niche where they create a community around specific topics,” she said.

“You know how sometimes there are mom influencers, mom tok parenting content? This is so, but there are no children involved.’
