In an interview with new Magazine, Danielle has revealed she and her husband Michael O’Neill are planning baby number six.
Danielle is already mum to her daughter Autumn and son Ronnie, four, with Michael, and shares sons Archie, 11, Harry, 10, and George, eight, with her ex husband Jamie O’Hara.
After being vocal about her desire for a baby girl, Danielle now says she’s keen to give Autumn a baby sister.
‘I’ve gone through ups and downs and I just can’t imagine Autumn not having a little sister to grow up with,’ she explained.
‘I just think it’s nice to have sisters close together so they’ve always got each other’s backs.’
When asked how Michael feels about adding to their brood, Danielle insisted that he ‘just goes with the flow. What does one more matter?’
‘When I was saying it to Michael, I think I’d had a few wines.
‘I think he thought I was messing around but I definitely wasn’t. I still think he thinks I’m messing around. Even with Autumn, he was like, ‘You didn’t tell me we were trying’. I was like, ‘Didn’t I?”
She added that she will use the Babydust Method again in the hope of conceiving another girl.
Danielle previously revealed that she decided to try for a baby girl naturally after being unable to travel abroad for controversial gender selection due to the Covid pandemic.
The star revealed she followed The Babydust Method, a book published by Kathryn Taylor which enlists the help of ovulation strips to conceive a child.
The method works by asking women to chart their luteinising hormone twice per day and using ovulation predictor kits for three months to recognise the patterns in their cycle.
The hormone typically surges at around day 14 in the menstrual cycle and ovulation, with tests indicating when a women is scheduled to ovulate.
Couples hoping to have a girl should have intercourse two or three days before ovulation, and no other time throughout the cycle, while those hoping for a boy should have sex 24 hours after their first darkest test, which indicates ovulation will take place 24 hours later, and again after 24 hours.
