A man who died after falling from a wind turbine has been remembered as a loving father and a magnanimous larrikin.
Daniel Squillari, 34, fell 20 meters last week when a wind tower he was working on collapsed at Lake Proserpine on the Whitsunday Coast of north Queensland.
The father-of-two was helping to build a meteorological mast at the site when disaster struck.
His colleagues gave him CPR until paramedics arrived.
