Sam Burgess and his fiancée Lucy Graham announced on Friday that they had welcomed their first child together.
The former NRL star shared adorable photos on Instagram of his newborn daughter Robbie and it didn’t take long for his famous friends to congratulate him and Lucy.
Australian TV star Daniel MacPherson captioned Sam’s post: ‘Congratulations you two! How life changes in a week.’
“Awww, I’m so happy for you. How precious,” said Neighbors star Bonnie Anderson.
‘Congratulations!!!!’ former Olympian Jana Pittman said while John Ibrahim wrote: “Congratulations to you both. Daughters are the best, Sammy.”

“I love you guys,” Sam’s brother Luke also commented on the post.
Sam announced his daughter’s arrival on Channel Seven’s Sunrise, revealing the couple welcomed a baby girl named Robbie on Wednesday.
“(It happened) during the grand final week we were cheering. IMy sleep is very limited and I’m used to it again, but it’s great!‘ said the proud father.
The athlete also said that both Lucy and their newborn daughter are “doing really well.”

“She’s amazing and beautiful, just like her mother,” Sam added.
Sam also shares two children: daughter Poppy, six, and son Billy, four, with his ex-wife Phoebe Burgess.
They were married for four years before splitting in 2019.
Sam and Lucy revealed they were expecting their first child together in March.
“We are so excited and happy to start this new chapter together… Happy Days,” he told Daily Mail Australia.

The former Rabbitohs player proposed to Lucy in June, just nine months after they made their relationship public.
Lucy recently made the decision to move Down Under from Britain permanently and it is thought her pregnancy was the reason.
Lucy was a member of the British girl group The Ultra Girls, which was featured extensively on The X Factor UK in 2009.
