New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones is feared to have torn his ACL during Sunday’s loss to the Las Vegas Raiders.
Jones went down without contact at Allegiant Stadium in the second quarter while trying to avoid Raiders edge rusher Maxx Crosby.
The 26-year-old fell to the ground after his knee appeared to give way, before being taken out of the game after the first play of the quarter.
Despite not needing a cart or assistance as he left the field, Jones is believed to have suffered a torn ACL in Vegas.
According to NFL reporter Ian Rapoportthe Giants fear the worst after initial tests indicated he has suffered a serious knee injury, which would almost certainly end his season prematurely.

Jones, who had only just returned after missing three games with a neck injury, was four of nine for 25 yards at the time of his departure in the game.
Tommy DeVito entered the game trailing the Giants 7-0, but by the time Jones was ruled out for the remainder of the game early in the third quarter, the deficit had grown to 24-0.
