Daniel Day-Lewis stepped out with his wife Rebecca Miller in New York City on Wednesday – after returning to the red carpet for the first time in six years.
The reclusive three-time Oscar winner, 66, who supported his partner at the premiere of her new film She Came To Me on Tuesday, wore a double denim ensemble for his walk.
He wore a denim shirt and jeans, paired with maroon sneakers and 70s-inspired tinted aviator pants as he chatted with his wife.
Filmmaker Rebecca wore a loose blue top and cargo pants, paired with red sandals and a fedora hat.
She wore her tresses in soft waves and sported a pair of cat-eye sunglasses.

The My Left Foot star held hands with his beautiful partner, the daughter of famed playwright Arthur Miller, on the red carpet at the premiere.
The gorgeous parents were also joined by their son Ronan, 25, who wore a casual white T-shirt and jeans for the big debut.
The family outing took place in honor of the first showing of Rebecca’s romantic comedy, starring Anne Hathaway, Peter Dinklage and Marisa Tomei.
The Method actor hasn’t hit the red carpet since announcing his retirement in June 2017, following the release of Phantom Thread. ‘
“All my life I complained about having to quit acting, and I don’t know why it was different this time, but the urge to quit took root in me, and it became a compulsion,” he shared. W magazine five months after the news.
“It was something I had to do.”
With the announcement, Hollywood would lose the only actor to win three Best Actor Oscars.
In 1989 he took home his first for My Left Foot, following up the win with a statue for 2007’s There Will Be Blood.

During his retirement, Daniel splits his time between New York City and Annamoe, Ireland, with his wife Ronan and their other son Cashel, 21.
Daniel also shares son Gabriel, 28, with his ex-girlfriend, French star Isabelle Adjani.
