Daniel Craig and Hayley Atwell lead the stars at the James Bond 60th anniversary party

The stars stepped out in style on Wednesday night as they celebrated the 60th anniversary of the first James Bond film with a star-studded party at London’s Wardens Grove.

Leading the way was 007 himself Daniel Craig, who looked typically smart in a black suit and bow tie.

Meanwhile, Hayley Atwell brought on the glamour, putting on a busty display in a semi-sheer ice blue dress with a waist-cinching gold corset detail.

Other stars attending the glitzy event included Daisy Edgar-Jones and Gugu Mbatha-Raw, both of whom made stylish figures on the evening.

Organized by watch brand Omega, the event marks 60 years since the release of the debut James Bond film Dr. No in 1962, with Sean Connery the first actor to take on the role of a super spy.

And Daniel, 54 – who has played the secret agent in five movies – looked in high spirits as he pulled off his signature pout as he posed for some snaps at the event.

The star added a crisp white shirt and smart black shoes for the occasion, and rocked a special edition Omega James Bond watch on his wrist.

Hayley, 40, meanwhile, looked stunning in her flowing gown as she graced the star-studded black carpet at a photocall celebrating the films based on Ian Fleming’s novels.

The actress exuded confidence as she posed in her eye-catching outfit which she paired with a matching gold feather handbag, gold platform shoes and tiny silver earrings.

Her dark brown locks were styled in a sleek bun, while she emphasized her features with a radiant makeup palette.

Daisy Edgar-Jones opted for a sophisticated black and white combination, consisting of a black crop top with gold buttons and large white lapels.

With the Normal People star added a black midi skirt with a high slit and pointy black heels.

Elsewhere, Gugu sparkled in a form-fitting white satin midi dress with a black trim and long drape detail.

The actress exuded glamor in the strapless number, which she paired with pointy black heels.

Gugu’s raven-black locks were styled into a sleek bun, with the star highlighting her features with glamorous makeup, including a rouge lip.

Other stars in attendance included presenter Clara Amfo, who looked stunning in a black midi dress with cream ruffled sleeves.

While actress Alisha Boe showed off plenty of cleavage in a plunging black velvet mini dress.

Daniel’s appearance comes after he recently admitted he hated the spotlight he was placed under after being cast as James Bond in 2006, and he still finds fame “foreign”.

The actor was recently the Tribute Honoree at the 2022 Montclair Film Festival Stephen Colbert hosted a talk at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center.

According to GVN, Daniel said, “I used to hate it, but I guess that was fame that I didn’t love. I had to get used to being famous, which is still so strange to me.’

“Everybody fucking hated me,” Daniel joked about the public reaction to his casting.

The Chester native stepped down from the role in 2021’s No Time To Die, with the likes of Henry Cavill, Regé Jean-Page and Tom Hardy leading favorites to play 007 next.
