Dani Dyer reveals she is having IDENTICAL twins and admits it was a ‘shock’

She recently announced that she is expecting twins with boyfriend Jarrod Bowen.

And Dani Dyer has shared a few more details about her pregnancy when she took to her Instagram Stories for a Q&A on Tuesday.

The 26-year-old former Love Island winner also shared a variety of stunning snaps showing her cradling her growing baby bump while donning a pink mesh bodycon dress.

In a series of posts, she revealed that she is having identical twins and shared that she is five months pregnant next week as she hinted at her due date.

Kicking off the candid Q&A, Dani confirmed that she is having identical twins when she responded to a fan who asked if twins are part of her family.

She wrote: ‘So Jarrod has twins on his side of the family… However we are having identical twins so they don’t run in families, anyone can have them! Which I never knew until we found out.

According to the NHS, identical twins do not run in families and there is around a 1 in 250 chance of having them.

Dani admitted it was a “tremendous shock” to learn she was having twins at her 12-week scan because the doctors had only picked up one baby at her eight-week scan.

When asked if it was a surprise, she explained: ‘Yeah, a big surprise! I had an early scan at about eight weeks and they only picked up one baby.

Then when I came back at almost 12 weeks we found out they were twins. We laughed all day, we didn’t believe him at first. It was a really special moment.

Dani also shared that it came as a big surprise to her parents, Joanne and Danny, when she posted Whatsapp messages showing her reaction to the news.

In another post, Dani hinted at her due date when she shared that she’s five months pregnant next week, adding: “I haven’t bought anything yet, I need to start getting organized a bit.”

The reality TV star was also asked about her birth plans, to which she replied that she had been told a C-section would be “safer.”

She said: “I’ve always wanted a vaginal birth for my second, however it’s identical twins now. My consultant advised a C-section would be safer, so that’s the plan.”

Dani recently revealed that she and Jarrod are moving house, probably to a bigger place to make room for the twins.

Responding to questions from followers on Instagram, Dani said the couple would be moving in soon, after she put their £725,000 five-bedroom property up for sale.

‘Actually, we’re moving house soon… I can’t cope, honestly, I would have moved house four times in the last four years. Let’s hope this is all, for a few good years.

The Love Island star added that she and Jarrod have “a lot of exciting things happening in 2023.”
