Blood-drenched owner reveals how evil bulldog Sookie ATE his own pups – just days before the crazed canine tried to eat a woman alive with two other dogs

The bulldog was shot dead along with two other dogs after brutally mauling a woman who ate his own puppies days earlier, its owner has admitted to Daily Mail Australia.

The three crazed animals tried to eat Jordan Garrett alive after attacking a house in Dandenong in Melbourne’s south-east just before 10am on Thursday.

Police had to open fire on the dogs as they tore Ms Garrett apart, shooting two dogs five times and another three times before the carnage was brought to a halt.

Now the owner, who calls Daily Mail Australia Jenny, has revealed how her two pets – male Johnson bulldog Snookie and female pit bull terrier LaLa – were raised alongside five young children.

Still wearing her blood-soaked T-shirt from the previous day’s attack, she explained that her ex-partner’s bulldog, Shady, was the third dog killed by police.

The victim was her ex-partner’s new girlfriend, Jenny said.

Police had tried to stop the mauling using capsicum spray but they continued to attack Mrs Garrett and had to be shot dead.

Video captured the horrific attack, but the footage is too disturbing to publish.

Speaking on the front lawn of the property where the dogs were killed, Jenny said she had just returned from the local vet clinic where she said goodbye to her beloved pets, who she placed in a final embrace before the cremation.

Jenny had left her two dogs in the care of her ex-boyfriend, whose partner was mauled by the animals just four months ago.

The mother of five said she raised Sookie and LaLa from pups. Sookie was three years old, while LaLa was about to turn two.

“I’ve had them since they were six weeks old,” she said. ‘They were beautiful dogs.

“Look at me, I’m covered in their blood. I just went to the vet to say goodbye.’

The dogs’ bullet-riddled bodies were left in the backyard by police after they were shot dead.

Jenny claimed the dogs’ drastic personality change was caused by outside influences, brought on by recent changes at her ex-boyfriend’s property in Ross Street, where the attack took place.

She said she dumped the body of the third dog in the attack, which belonged to her ex-partner.

“I put that dog in the hard bin,” she said. ‘They came with a truck and I picked up the dog and put it in.

“I thought they came with a car, but it was a hard garbage truck.”

Jenny, who does not live in the property where the attack took place, said she had split up with her boyfriend about a year ago.

“Sookie and Lala were our dogs and then I left him and he got another one,” Jenny said.

Shady had only recently given birth to four puppies, but a few had been eaten by the pups’ father, Sookie.

“Sook ate some,” Jenny said. “Because they don’t separate them… he’s a man, that’s what they do.”

The devastated dog owner said she believed the victim had tried to get her dogs to ‘like her’.

“And she went there,” Jenny said. “You can’t go outside because Sookie kept biting people.”

Jenny dismissed reports that her dogs had become agitated by a previous visit from police, who had arrested a youth at the property on an outstanding warrant.

‘I heard that on the news too. I heard they were her dogs,” she said. “It was my damn dogs that got shot. Five bullets in each.”

Police fired a total of 19 shots into the chaos, 13 of which were effective, Jenny said.

Despite LaLa’s role in the attack, Jenny insisted her pit bull had been a gentle soul while in her care.

‘Don’t put in the media ‘pit bull this, pit bull that’ because that dog, I tell you, was a beautiful dog. She was beautiful,” Jenny said.

She insisted she had treated her dogs well while in her care.

“I’m not a junkie,” she added. “I probably look like this right now because I haven’t slept and I’m covered in blood.”

Ms Garrett remains in a critical condition in Dandenong Hospital and police are investigating.

It has now emerged that Ms Garrett was attacked by one of the animals earlier this week, according to a neighbor who said the dogs had been causing concern for some time.

“I was home sick from work and heard screaming and crashing,” the neighbor said The era.

“Then the police came and the shooting started.”

It comes as shocking CCTV footage has emerged of an attack allegedly involving one of the animals in July.

The footage, published by the newspaper, shows a large white and brown dog mauling a much smaller Shiba Inu, who screams and screams in pain.

The Shiba Inu’s owner screams and falls to the ground during the attack before a male bystander runs over and begins kicking and punching the larger dog in an attempt to get him to stop.

The man repeatedly shouts “let go” and “no stop” as he tries to wiggle the dog away.

Greater Dandenong City Council said it had received multiple complaints about the dogs at the property and was prosecuting a resident of the home, who is not the victim, over the attack in July.

The case will go to trial in November.

Several dogs remained at the Dandenong home on Friday.

A neighbor who lives on the same street said there were a total of five dogs in the government building.

It is clear that the woman lives in the house with several others.

“I was just walking home and there was a lot of shouting and screaming,” the neighbor told Daily Mail Australia.

“Then the police came and all you heard was gunshots. I saw the lady being put in the ambulance and she was doing very badly.’
