She was recently nominated for the prestigious TV Week Gold Logie Award for the second consecutive year.

And Sonia Kruger is reportedly looking for a pay rise with Channel Seven if she wins the coveted award.

“If Sonia wins the gold, Seven wants to reward her with some kind of incentive. It could be six figures,” an insider said New idea magazine.

It is common practice in show business to include a performance-based clause in contracts that allows for wage negotiations if the host exceeds expectations.

The blonde bombshell is one of Seven’s most popular presenters and hosts three major reality shows on the network: Dancing With The Stars, The Voice and Big Brother.

While Sonia is open to resuming hosting duties on DWTS in 2024, the publication added, she had a “handful of requirements” that network bosses must meet to ensure she’s happy.

There are even rumors that Sonia is teaming up with the handsome celebrity veterinarian Dr. Chris Brown, 44, as he migrates to Channel Seven.

“Sonia will want to be there with Chris when the time comes, but bosses will have to pay,” the source added.

Sonia was a close pick last year to win the Gold Logie for Most Popular Personality on Australian TV, but lost out to Hamish Blake for his work on Channel Nine’s Lego Masters.

Last year, Sonia told TV tonight she felt it was about time a female presenter took home the popular Gold Logie Award.

The TV presenter noted that most male nominees have already taken home a Gold Logie in the past and stressed that the women deserve their chance to shine.

The 2023 Logie Award ceremony will take place on Sunday 30th July in Sydney and will be broadcast on Channel Seven.
