Olympic rugby player Ilona Maher and her professional partner Alan Bersten pull off the pasa doble for their first dance of the evening. They dance to Sam Smith and Kim Petras’ Body Shop, while Ilona wears a beautiful red dress.

Fans praised Joey and Jenna’s foxtrot and the judges agreed, giving all three an A for a perfect 30!

Joey Graziadei and Jenna Johnson are next with a foxtrot dance. They stunned in matching teal outfits and brought the house down with the dance. Derek thought it was a ‘masterclass’ in the foxtrot and the ‘frame was so impeccable.’

Fans were not happy when Derek Hough gave Chandler Kinney and Brandon Armstrong a 9, while Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli gave their salsa dance a 10. Many could not contain their anger online.

Chandler insists her perfect score only put more pressure on her to perform in the semifinals. Carrie Ann Inaba gave them a 10, while Derek Hough gave them a 9 and Bruno Tonioli gave them a 10 for a score of 29 out of 30.

Chandler and Brandon continue to prove why they are in the semi-finals with a stirring salsa dance that set the crowd on fire. Carrie Ann Inaba had high praise for their artistry, while Derek Hough thought they danced like they were “already in the finals.” Derek felt there wasn’t enough ‘salsa content’ in the dance, although he felt it was ‘well done’. Bruno thought the dance ‘was a hit’.
