Dancing with the Stars’ Emma Slater reveals the REAL reason why she and Sasha Farber are getting a divorce after four years of marriage – despite admitting they are still in love

Dancing with the Stars artist Emma Slater has spoken out publicly about the “difficult” and “confusing” divorce from her ex and co-star Sash Farber.

The 34-year-old dancer explained that while the “love is still there,” the reason for the divorce is that they are in “different places.”

Emma appeared on Nick Viall’s podcast The Viall files to explain that she has “absolute love” and “so much respect” for Sasha, 39, but their split came down to one factor.

“It’s really something for kids,” she told the host. ‘I think that would be very interesting, because I do want children.’

“I don’t want to talk too much about him because that’s really for him to say, but it’s about kids,” she explained.

“There’s really nothing I changed because I was really true to myself. That was exactly how I felt then.’

As for when Emma wants to grow her family, she said the timing is something she’s “still figuring out.”

“The situation is that I feel some kind of resistance in life and don’t know what that is and why I feel it, and have come to terms with that over the past few years,” she said.

She added that he’s always been very sure of himself, but “I’m the one who found it hard to understand, ‘Why do I suddenly feel different?'”

Emma said she eventually realized she was hesitant to have kids in the near future, but kept “pushing those feelings back” until she had no choice but to deal with it.

She also added that “being in a relationship in the public eye is so hard,” explains, “It’s hard to navigate how you feel and you try to maintain that respect for your relationship when everyone has an opinion.

“Privacy is something I really value and I think I’m going to try to keep something with my partner in the future,” she added.

Emma, ​​who officially filed for divorce in February, claimed the whole process went through ‘difficult’ and ‘very emotional’.
