Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu’s ‘sexiest ever’ ice dance routine draws over 100 complaints to Ofcom after mocking THAT Love Island tour
Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu left some viewers excited on Sunday night with her debut performance Dancing On Ice.
The 28-year-old former Love Island star was seen recreating her famous crawling scene from the ITV2 show, with presenter Holly Willoughby calling the routine the show’s “sexiest dance of all time”.
But it didn’t seem to go down so well with everyone, as the competition show received more than 100 complaints from Ofcom after the routine, with the Turkish beauty finding herself with the fewest public votes.
Dancing On Ice was inundated with complaints from Ofcom after Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu performed the show’s “sexiest dance” during its launch episode on Sunday.
Ekin-Su was among the first group of celebrities to jump on the ice in the debut episode, dancing with her partner Brendyn Hatfield.
But the performance did not go as she expected, with Ofcom receiving 112 complaints from the public after the episode.
She certainly brought some fire to the runway, stepping out in a nude mesh jumpsuit with spectacularly embellished detail.
The actress dragged herself across the ice during the performance, an ode to the famous Love Island scene, in which she crawled across the villa’s terrace to kiss compatriot Jay Younger behind her partner Davide Sanclimenti’s back.

While the sultry routine also saw her lay on her back and be swept into the arms of her partner Brendyn, complete with plenty of animated facial expressions.
Ekin-Su and Brendyn were placed in the middle of the leaderboard by the judges, who gave a score of 21.5.
And while they agreed that the star certainly had sex appeal, they were expecting a little more skating.

‘It was very sexy. But what I want most is skating,” shared Judge Jayne Torvill. Ashley agreed as she said, “Skate on your own without holding on to Brendyn, show us what you can do.”
Many viewers also took to social media to call the routine “not appropriate” for the family-friendly show, which airs before the turning point.
But the performance was a hit with Ekin-Su’s boyfriend, Davide, who sat in the audience and joked that he “couldn’t wait” to take her home.
Later in the show, the public vote revealed that the Love Island star received the fewest public votes and will face a skating contest on next week’s show, along with another star.

Appearing on Good Morning Britain this week, following his girlfriend’s performance, Davide applauded their efforts.
He said: ‘I was there watching her live from the audience, I think she’s doing well, obviously not just because she’s my girlfriend.
“She is a strong woman, she knows what she wants, I think this will push her to try harder and get what she wants.”
He continued: ‘It’s good for her because she’ll push herself even though she was sad for a few hours at first. At the end of the day, this is the show, this is how it goes.
