Dancing On Ice’s Ryan Thomas shows off his muscles as he gets a spray tan while Claire Sweeney dons face mask as the stars prepare for first live show
The first live show of Dancing on Ice will be broadcast on Sunday evening when the skating competition starts, with presenter Holly Willoughby making her TV comeback.
And the stars were busy during the day getting the camera ready for the show, with former Coronation Street star Ryan Thomas, 39, getting a spray tan.
The actor showed off his muscles as he shared a photo on his Instagram Story and wrote the caption, “The best part of @dancingonice.”
Meanwhile, another contestant on the show, Claire Sweeney, 52, wore a sheet mask as she put on her glam.
The Brookside star also got her hair done as she captioned the Instagram snap: “The glamor begins for tonight’s show!”

Elsewhere, comedian Lou Sanders, 38, showed off a bright red manicure as she joked: “@dancingonice turns this truck driver into a lady!”
Athlete Greg Rutherford, 37, also shared photos from the locker room, but appeared slightly confused as he sipped a Lemsip.
It comes after Ryan this week revealed he suffered a ‘bad fall’ during Dancing On Ice rehearsals just days before the launch show.
The star collaborates with professional skater Amani Fancy.
The pair appeared on This Morning to chat about their progress so far on the show, which starts on Sunday evening.
However, Amani explained: “I mean we have a long journey ahead of us, we have to make sure that what happened in practice a few weeks ago doesn’t happen in the live shows – which was a pretty tough fall.
“But it’s not easy, they have to lift us up, they have a life in their hands.”
Host Josie Gibson also asked, “Is he a good student?” with Ryan replying, “I’m working hard, Josie.”

Athlete Greg Rutherford, 37, also shared photos from the dressing room ahead of the first live show
But he appeared to be somewhat under the weather as he sipped a Lemsip and wrapped himself in a sweater
Amani added: “He has good self-awareness, but he is an interesting student and we work harder than anyone I know.
“He goes to his paddle competitions, to PT, be with his kids and go ice skating. He tries to stay focused, I tell him to go on your right leg, but he goes on his left leg.
“He chuckles and only comes back when I’ve calmed down a bit, he’s like a little kid on ice.”
Amani previously shared a selection of photos with the actor on social media, writing, “I’ve honestly been hoping for this pairing since the @dancingonice lineup came out after watching an interview that Ryan was in, to the point where I nagged production to tell me numerous times if it was him, but until today he had no luck.’
“I’m so proud to be your partner and can’t wait to see you flourish and become the skater I know you can be. Who knows, maybe at the end of the competition we won’t know who the professional is anymore.’
