Greg Rutherford has revealed he is considering competing in his third Olympic Games after his success on Dancing On Ice.
The former track and field athlete, 37, who works with professional Vanessa James, 36, spoke on the show about how the Canadian skater had inspired him.
After suffering a shoulder injury, he was ruled out of the 2022 Winter Olympics and his dreams of joining the British bobsleigh team were put on hold.
But it seems Greg has now set his sights on pair skating as he shared his hopes of competing in the 2026 Winter Olympics.
In an interview with The sunhe explained, “I said to Vanessa, ‘If everything went well enough and I could put in enough time, how about the next Olympics?’

He added: “I will have to compete for Canada though because unfortunately she wouldn’t be able to compete for Great Britain.
‘But hey, why not? Why don’t I give myself another chance? I still have a few years left.’
Vanessa represented Canada at the 2022 Winter Olympics, having previously competed for France in 2010, 2014 and 2018.
Greg, who has an MBE, won gold at the 2012 Olympic Games and bronze at the 2016 Summer Olympics.
His role in Dancing On Ice comes seven years after the retired track and field athlete appeared in Strictly Come Dancing.
On Sunday, viewers saw Greg go through another week of Dancing On Ice after performing the salsa.
He returned to the rink with partner Vanessa after injuring herself on the ice just before last week’s live show.
Despite suffering the fall, the duo were confident in the routine which host Oti described as ‘sexy and sultry’ and praised the duo’s chemistry.
