Dana White has revealed he has shed more than two stone after being given the frightening prognosis that he had just ten years to live.
The UFC president has an athletic background, having worked as a boxing instructor before a fateful meeting with childhood friend Lorenzo Fertitta led him to the position he currently holds.
However, White revealed that he had struggled to stay in shape in recent years before meeting so-called human biologist and mortality expert Gary Brecka.
In a post shared with his 8.4 million followers InstagramWhite compared before and after photos of himself to the current photo that highlights his chiseled physique, with both significant muscle mass and little body fat.
White captioned his post: ‘Left is March 17, 2017, right is September 18, 2023 F***** NUTS!!!’ and tagged Brecka’s Instagram account.

White talked about his desire to enlist Brecka’s help last year The Action Junkeez Podcast that he was “bloody obsessed” with finding out exactly what month he would die.
Following a DNA test, the 54-year-old was told that given his current condition he had only 10.6 years to live, leading to him having to make a series of lifestyle changes in both diet and exercise.
After delivering the harrowing sentence, Brecka gave White a series of recommendations to improve his health.
“So I did everything he said, to the letter,” White said on the podcast. ‘Thirteen weeks ago my legs were so damn bad I couldn’t tie my shoes anymore. I couldn’t bend down to tie my shoes because my legs were fucking stuck up. Some days I could barely walk.
‘It feels like I’m 35 years old again. Swear to God, I feel like I’m 35 again.’
While controversy remains within the scientific community over the veracity of such projections, the stark warning about the state of his health clearly had a significant impact on White.
