UFC president Dana White dug deep into his pockets and donated $100,000 to Donald Trump’s fundraiser for Hurricane Helene victims.
In late September, the hurricane tore through the southeastern United States, taking lives and families’ homes in Florida, Georgia and the Carolinas.
As victims of the disaster hope to get back on their feet, the former US president launched an effort with a GoFundMe campaign as the official response for MAGA supporters offering their financial assistance to those affected.
One of the fundraiser’s top donors was White with his six-figure offering.
White wasn’t the only prominent figure to donate to the cause. Kid Rock donated $20,000 and Bill Ackman donated $100,000. Meanwhile, former U.S. Senator Kelly Loeffler and investor Steve Witkoff each gave as much as $500,000.

Hurricane Helene tore through the southeastern states, killing more than 130 people
The campaign description reads: “President Donald J. Trump has launched this GoFundMe campaign as an official response for MAGA supporters to offer their financial support to their fellow Americans affected by Hurricane Helene.”
“With so many in the southeastern U.S. facing challenges following the storm, President Trump is on the ground in communities to see the aftermath firsthand.”
“All donations will go towards helping those most affected by Hurricane Helene. Any act of generosity will go a long way to helping fellow Americans who are suffering.”

Although the fundraiser aims to raise $1 million, it has now reached more than $3.6 million as of Tuesday evening.
According to the Associated Press, Helene tragically claimed the lives of more than 130 people.
The relationship between White and Trump comes as no surprise as the latter is a regular fixture at the UFC’s biggest events.
White also introduced his friend at the Republican National Convention in July, as Trump hopes to make his second run in the White House.
