Damar Hamlin takes first snap for Buffalo Bills since his cardiac arrest in January – and then makes a tackle on his first drive in incredible scenes against Denver Broncos

Damar Hamlin has taken his first defensive snap of the season for the Buffalo Bills and his first in football since his on-field cardiac arrest in January.

Hamlin came into action in the fourth quarter for the Bills against the Denver Broncos with one minute and 39 seconds left and his team leading 22-21.

He received a huge ovation from the Bills fans at Highmark Stadium and came on for Cam Lewis after apparently injuring his right arm.

Then, on the first drive, Hamlin tackled Adam Trautman. At the start of the game, Hamlin was playing for the Bills for the second time this season.

Hamlin suffered cardiac arrest on January 2 while playing for the Bills against the Cincinnati Bengals.
