Damar Hamlin launches ‘We Won’ t-shirts to raise money for the University of Cincinnati Medical Center where he is being treated after his cardiac arrest playing for the Bills on Monday night.
Damar Hamlin is already working to raise money for the Cincinnati medical center that is treating him after his cardiac arrest while playing for the Buffalo Bills on Monday night.
The 24-year-old tweeted a link sunday to a range of t-shirts with ‘Did We Win’ emblazoned on them, one of the first things Hamlin apparently said after regaining consciousness at the hospital. Each shirt costs $33.
Hamlin wrote on social media: ‘We all win. I want to return an ounce of the love that was shown to me.
‘Proceeds from this t-shirt will go to first responders and the UC Trauma Center. Go get yours!
It comes as his Bills team defeated the New England Patriots 35-23 on Sunday. Before the game, Hamlin had shared a photo from his hospital bed and had also tweeted before his team played: “GameDay … I want nothing more than to be running through that tunnel with my brothers.”
‘God uses me in a different way today. Tell someone you love them today! come on @BuffaloBills’.
