He has shown encouraging signs in recent days and has now returned home to continue his rehab back and forth with his NFL team.

‘Hamlin was admitted Monday and underwent a comprehensive medical evaluation, as well as a series of cardiac, neurological and vascular tests on Tuesday.

‘Jamie Nadler, MD, critical care physician and chief quality officer at Kaleida Health and leader of Hamlin’s care team said, “We have completed a series of tests and evaluations, and in consultation with team physicians, we are confident that Damar can be safely released to continue his rehabilitation at home and with the Bills.’

Hamlin provided an update on his progress Tuesday afternoon, revealing medical tests.

His remarkable recovery comes just nine days after he went into cardiac arrest on the field.

Hamlin was transferred from the University of Cincinnati Medical Center to the Buffalo facility on Monday.

Hamlin posted a series of tweets after arriving home in New York thanking everyone.

The Buffalo Bills safety, who has organized toy charity drives to raise money for his local community, knocked down Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins in the first quarter of Monday night’s crucial game and got up briefly before to fall backwards to the ground and remain motionless.

Higgins led the shower of good wishes for the young player, tweeting that he “prays Hamlin pulls through” with the player in critical condition at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
