She started off by joking that Luca had tried to cast her as the peach in the critically acclaimed movie, prompting laughter from the crowd.
In the film, the character played by Timothee Chalamet performed a sexual act on a peach, after which Hammer’s character ate it.

She continued: “Luca had asked me to play the part of the peach, but our schedules conflicted, thank goodness because then it would have been another woman Armie Hammer tried to eat!”

“It’s been five years since that movie opened here, and Luca hasn’t stopped taking us to exciting places. Who knew cannibalism was so popular?” she said.
