Dakota Johnson looks boho chic in a cream crochet dress as she attends the 50th Annual Telluride Film Festival

Dakota Johnson attended the 50th Annual Telluride Film Festival, held Thursday in Colorado.

The 33-year-old performer seemed to make the most of her time at the annual event, where she attended a screening of her upcoming movie Daddio.

The actress – who was allowed to attend the festival due to an interim agreement from SAG-AFTRA – also addressed the crowd that had gathered to watch the upcoming drama film.

Johnson looked boho chic in a cream crochet dress that teased her toned figure as she strolled to the event.

The Suspiria star contrasted the domineering tone of her attire with a pair of black shoes and a matching designer bag.

Her gorgeous dark brown hair fell past her chest and her signature bangs were partially swept to the side.

It was initially announced that Johnson had joined the cast of Daddio in June 2021.

The lead role in the feature film was initially to be played by Daisy Ridley, although she eventually had to leave the project.

Sean Penn also plays the lead role in the film, who joined the cast of the feature film at the same time as his co-star.

Daddio, written and directed by Christy Hall, who originally conceived the project as a stage play.

The film, which also serves as Hall’s directorial debut, is about a woman who has a painfully honest conversation with a taxi driver on a ride home from JFK Airport.

Physical production of the feature film took place last year, with filming in New York City and New Jersey.

Johnson and Penn both made last-minute interim agreements to promote the project at Telluride.

Hall talked about Daddio during an interview with Entertainment weeklywhere she discussed the character of the actress.

The filmmaker stated that “she balances seamlessly between being sexy and foul-mouthed, while still maintaining an innocent softness.”

She added that Johnson’s character “also has this cheeky curiosity, a playful grace that allows this conversation to unfold, because her character is unafraid of the colorful personalities that roam New York City.”

Daddio, which premiered during Telluride, currently has no scheduled release date.
