Dakota Fanning rocks chic LBD as she’s supported by little sister Elle at Netflix’s Ripley NY Tastemaker event
Dakota Fanning’s younger sister Elle Fanning was by her side at Netflix’s Ripley NY Tastemaker event on Tuesday night.
The 25-year-old actress – who just cut her hair into a bob – wore a ruby red trench coat dress to the screening.
For her part, 30-year-old Elle, who stars in the streaming giant’s eight-episode series, was dressed in a black dress.
The fashionable siren tied a matching blazer around her waist.
The two siblings showed off their striking resemblance as they posed side by side at the star-studded gathering.

Elle tied a matching belt around her waist and accessorized with black accents.
She carried an elegant leather handbag and elevated her ensemble with sheer black tights and round-toed kitten heels.
The young beauty wore her straight, platinum locks in an off-center parting.
She wore a light face of makeup with pink blush and a matching lip stain.
Dakota’s bright locks were parted in the middle and styled in loose spirals that fell across her chest.
Dakota has been hard at work promoting her role as wealthy socialite Marge Sherwood in Steven Zaillian’s eight-episode series, which premieres April 4.
The role of Marge was originated by Oscar winner Gwyneth Paltrow in the critically acclaimed film The Talented Mr. Anthony Minghella’s 1999 Ripley, starring Matt Damon and Jude Law.
But this small-screen adaptation of Patricia Highsmith’s 1955 crime novel features Johnny Flynn, Elliot Sumner, Maurizio Lombardi, Margherita Buy and John Malkovich.

Elle made a rare appearance with boyfriend Gus Wenner as they arrived at the Crosby Hotel on Tuesday night.
Elle and the Rolling Stone CEO, 33, were romantically linked for the first time last year following her split from Max Minghella after nearly four years of dating.
During an interview with Harper’s Bazaar UK last year, the artist said she was still “a hopeless romantic.”
‘I believe in love at first sight. Call me crazy, but I believe in those things. I feel like it’s my destiny,” she said.
