“These homes are targeted for burglaries due to the perception that they contain high-value merchandise such as designer handbags, jewelry, watches and cash,” the FBI said in a Liaison Information Report obtained by ABC News.

WFA, based in Dallas has obtained a police report stating that Ramos was on her way to a pilates class on December 26 when she “rushed in because of the rain” and “forgot to lock her car.”

Because computer software and cash were also taken, the total value of the missing property is believed to be $40,000.
