Dak Prescott signs new $240MILLION Dallas Cowboys deal as quarterback becomes highest-paid player in NFL history hours before season opener

Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys have reached a deal just hours before the team opens its regular season against the Cleveland Browns.

The veteran quarterback signed a four-year, $240 million contract extension to stay in Dallas, making him the highest-paid player in NFL history.

Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero reported that the deal guarantees Prescott $231 million. The deal was confirmed by owner Jerry Jones, his agent Tom France and his team at Athletes First.
