It comes after it was reported in March that Daisy May was in talks to star in the James Bond movie as 007’s boss.
The actress is said to have caught the attention of production bosses who hope she will bring some humor and unique style to the role.
The opportunity was said to have arisen after Daisy’s close friend Phoebe Waller-Bridge joined the production as a script consultant.
Bosses are apparently keen to overhaul the films now that Daniel Craig has departed as James Bond following the release of his latest film, No Time To Die, in September 2021.
A source told The sun: ‘Daisy is a good friend of Phoebe, whose involvement with Bond was such a success that it started an unlikely conversation.

Suddenly the production team got excited about the prospect of really taking ‘M’ in a different direction.
With Daniel leaving, it seemed time to look at changes across the board and the dynamic between Bond and ‘M’ is at the heart of the films.
“So this opens the door to making it a little lighter and more comedic – and of course will also affect the direction the new 007 goes.”
At the time, MailOnline contacted a representative for Daisy and EON Productions for comment.
It comes after Taron Egerton said he doesn’t think he would be the “right choice.” replace Daniel Craig as 007.
He explained The Daily Telegraph newspaper: ‘I don’t think I’m the right choice for it. You have to be consistently stately to be that guy. And that is something I still strive for. I’ve always struggled with my weight.’
The award-winning actor added that playing Bond is “a bit like being a brand ambassador as well as an actor. And that could be a lot of fun in the microcosm, but I’m sure I read that (producer) Barbara Broccoli said it’s a 15-year commitment.”
Taron also revealed that he has not been approached for the role, admitting, “It’s kind of irrelevant how I feel about it anyway because I can tell you there have been no calls.”
