But the two collide with Tyler Owens (Glen Powell), a high-profile storm chaser who risks his life to get close to tornadoes for lucrative social media content.
This happened after Paul Mescal brutally disconnected his good friend Daisy while she was live on the radio.
The actress was a guest on BBC Radio 1 Breakfast with Greg James on Wednesday, where they played a round of S it Down, Stand Up.
Daisy decided to call her Normal People colleague Paul, 28, first, but admitted: ‘Paul called me during this show and I didn’t answer.’
Host Greg responded, “That’s right, you ignored him. He was so sad when no one picked up.”
Daisy said, “Well, I feel like he doesn’t pick up on it, so maybe it’s a relief that it’s not just him and it’s not personal.”
Daisy then predicted that Paul would stand and Greg would sit.
Then the phone started ringing, and Daisy said, “Oh! He hung up. Wow. He just hung up.”

“It’s okay, we’re even. It’s all one. I’ll have some firm words with him later.”
It comes after Daisy went public with her relationship with her good friend and co-star Paul.
