A trailer for the film was released in May, and it premiered at a rodeo in Oklahoma. The audience watched a bull rider until leaves began to swirl into the arena, followed by a storm siren.
The animals fled with the crowd and a truck trying to drive away from the chaos was lifted by the wind and thrown into an electric billboard.
“A once-in-a-generation tornado outbreak continues to rage in Oklahoma,” a TV weatherman reported as Kate Cooper, played by 25-year-old English actress Daisy, watched the storm from a distance at a federal weather agency.
A supervisor called Kate for tornado assistance after he admitted he had never seen tornadoes like this before.
“No, I don’t hunt anymore,” Kate said.
When told her help could save lives, Kate reluctantly agreed to give him a week.
Kate went to Oklahoma with NASA and FEMA experts and was surprised when Tyler Owens, played by Glen (35), a self-described “tornado expert,” arrived.
“If you feel it,” Tyler told his adoring fans.

Hamilton star Anthony Ramos joined his costars in an all-black ensemble as they posed as a trio at the photocall
“Follow it!” they shouted back.
Tyler told Kate that his crew was different and didn’t need expensive equipment or doctorates.
“Sometimes the old ways are better than the new,” Tyler said.
“Well, you can always trust a man to put his face on a T-shirt,” Kate joked when a shirt was shown featuring Tyler and the words “Not My First Tornadeo.”
Tyler shot off fireworks in a tornado, much to Kate’s surprise, and said to her, “You’ve got quite the reputation, city girl.”
Later he questioned Kate about her theory that she could disrupt a tornado.
She admitted that she had failed her field test. “We never had a chance,” Kate said. “Do you want one?” Tyler asked.
Together they chased a tornado that turned out to be a twin storm. “They’re coming together,” Kate warned.
Kate and Tyler were in a town called Reno, where a tornado tore through the ground and toppled a water tower.
They were racing past an oil refinery that was destroyed by a tornado when the trailer ended.
At the end of the broadcast it was stated that Universal Pictures is partnering with the American Red Cross to help people affected by disasters.
It was a rainy week in London, but they still turned out en masse for the photocall
