A DailyMail.com Senior Reporter won a prestigious press award on Sunday for a story implicating the president in his son’s shady business dealings.
Josh Boswell, 30, won first place in the National Political/Government Reporting category at the Southern California Journalism Awards in Los Angeles.
The winning story, chosen from more than 2,300 entries, reported the allegations of a whistleblower who said they had a conference call in 2012 with then-Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter discussing a Latin American online gambling company.
The whistleblower revealed that Joe was active during the call discussing company details, appearing to be involved as a “silent partner.”
‘I am very happy to have won this award. There are so many great reporters in Southern California, so it means a lot to me that the judges approved my piece,” Boswell said.

In early 2021, DailyMail.com was the first to authenticate the infamous First Son’s laptop with the help of forensic cyber experts. Since then, we have led the way in reporting on alleged corruption in the Biden family.”
Deputy Executive Editor Martin Gould said, “We are very proud of Josh and his reporting, and we will continue to follow this important story wherever it leads.”
