Cynthia Nixon supports the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strike by wearing a t-shirt for the unions while in New York City…just days before the finale of And Just Like That…Season 2

Just over a month after the SAG-AFTRA strike and nearly four months after the WGA strike, Cynthia Nixon wore a T-shirt in support of both unions.

The 57-year-old actress was spotted wearing an army green T-shirt that read ‘WGA supports SAG-AFTRA. Like it’s 1960 again.’

The year 1960 the shirt refers to was the last time both the Writers Guild of American and the Screen Actors Guild (before merging with the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists in 2012) went on strike together.

The outing comes just days before the highly anticipated season 2 finale of Nixon’s Max series And Just Like That…

It’s already been confirmed that original Sex and the City star Kim Cattrall will return for the first time as Samantha Jones on the spin-off series with a cameo in the season 2 finale… although Nixon admitted in June that “the chances are very big’. ,very small’ Cattrall will return regularly.

She also accessorized with a silver bracelet and silver rings to match her necklace, while carrying her phone, a water bottle and a plant in a blue plastic bag.

Nixon completed her look with light blue wide-leg jeans and brown flats for her afternoon outing.

“I think very, very small. It was a cameo, I think it was a special treat for the 25th anniversary,” Nixon said.

She added, “we tried so hard to keep it quiet. We’re really sorry it came out. It would have been so much fun if you were watching the episode and she just popped up.

Max has yet to renew And Just Like That… for a third season, and it’s unclear when the streaming service will make a decision on the series’ fate.

Variety’s original report revealed that Cattrall shot her one scene on March 22 in New York City and did not interact with King’s cast at all.
