Cyclists turn on each other in rider-on-rider road rage footage

Shocking footage shows fellow cyclists turning on each other in a series of rider-on-rider road rage incidents.

The first clip shows a cyclist running a red light, much to the dismay of a motorcyclist who filmed the incident.

After overtaking the cyclist, the person taking the footage asks: “Aren’t there red lights in your area?”

After struggling to hear him a few times due to the sound of his motorcycle, the cyclist replies, “Yes, but if it’s safe I’ll just… (go through).”

The biker then says he’s “going to get hurt,” to which he replies, “I know, you’re right, you’re right.” I know.’

The second clip shows another cyclist waiting behind a truck on a narrow road until more space becomes available.

However, he is encouraged by the rider behind him to continue, who says ‘come on buddy’.

Despite replying that he doesn’t want to pull over because “I might die,” the other cyclist says, “If you’re scared, you shouldn’t ride on the damn road.”

The person filming then says, ‘Do you think I’m scared? That’s how people have died,” before later adding, “I think it’s terrible because I don’t want to die on the side of a truck.” I don’t think you fully realize how dangerous that is.’

At the next traffic light the cyclist with camera says: ‘Can you do me one favor, just one thing. Tell the camera you’re scared if you don’t drive along the side of a truck, because I’ll show this to the friends and family of people who’ve been killed by them.

β€œOr you can just have a little patience in your life. It’s okay if you want to do it, but if I don’t shut your damn mouth up.’

The final clip then shows a man bizarrely attempting to drive his penny around a roundabout.

Commenting on the video, which was posted on X, someone wrote: ‘So nice to see someone calling them out! the fact that they know they’re wrong, but it’s okay for cyclists to do that!’

Another added: ‘The one telling you to cycle down next to the truck is so common these days. Why are people like this? Nice to have someone like you here. Respect.’

Yesterday, Jeremy Vine became embroiled in a row during his bike ride home after a man in a white van, thinking he was a woman, pulled out in front of him, angering another motorist.

In his latest clip, the presenter praises a van driver for giving him time to get out of an intersection, but highlights how another motorist in a white car is less patient.

β€œI’m a little slow at the light here and I appreciate the van driver behind me giving me time and space, but the guy behind him is not impressed,” Vine said in a clip of the line.

The driver starts honking his horn and gets closer to the van, before managing to overtake while honking at Vine.

The van driver chases the “bad driver” and the pair begin exchanging expletives in what Vine called an almost “medieval” showdown.
