A motorcycle influencer who plans to marry his motorcycle-crazy fiancé has died after crashing his motorcycle into a dog.
Influencer Burak Can Tasan, 23, was thrown from his bicycle after hitting the animal in Turkey’s Saricam district of Adana.
Despite being rushed to hospital after the crash, Tasan later died after suffering multiple injuries, according to local media reports.
He was just weeks away from marrying fellow cycling enthusiast Yaren Kara after the couple announced their engagement on July 3.
Tasan – whose account has more than 130,000 followers on Instagram – previously shared how his romance with Ms. Kara had changed his life.
Tasan was an avid motorcyclist, who regularly shared posts on social media to showcase his passion for cycling

In a touching post to his fiancée, he wrote, “The year 2022 orchestrated its final surprise and led me to you.
“Until now I didn’t understand the concept of love or being loved.
“I learned that from you, my dear.
“I am grateful for the constant nourishment of my inner goodness and for never letting go of my hands.
“I am willing to travel with you until the end of life.”
Tasan was an avid motorcyclist, who regularly shared posts on social media to showcase his passion for cycling.
After her fiancé’s death, Ms. Kara posted a video of herself in tears holding a bouquet of flowers Tasan had gifted her.
Turkish police have opened an investigation into the accident, but it is currently unknown whether the dog survived the collision.
