A cybersecurity expert unknowingly rented her Arizona home to global superstar Rihanna during Super Bowl week for $500,000, covering two years of her mortgage.
Spyro Malaspinas, 48, of Paradise Valley, leased his $7.3 million, five-bedroom, five-bathroom home to Rihanna for six days before the Super Bowl, but had no idea the Super Bowl headliner was the one who he was offering a price he couldn’t pass up.
“My daughter was absolutely thrilled,” Malaspinas told the Wall Street Journal. The last thing I am is a real estate baron. My pride is not that great. I don’t mind moving for $500,000 a week.

Spyro Malaspinas, 48, of Paradise Valley, had no idea Rihanna was the person renting his home at first, but said his daughter was “absolutely thrilled” after finding out.
The pool area is elegantly designed with square mosaic tiles laid out on the grass, as well as loungers that sit in the pool and a personal covered bar.
The one-story house has two living rooms, a private gym, a wine cellar and a large backyard suitable for lounging in the Arizona sun. It also has a bocce ball court, a pickle ball court and a putting green, according to TMZ.
The kitchen has a beautiful marble island with soft light wood cabinets with gold accents on the range hood and hardware around the space. It is connected to a small dining room that is located between the kitchen and a small living room.
Much of the house has wooden beams attached to the ceiling and large windows that allow plenty of natural light to enter.
The bathrooms are all white in design with a white bathtub with a chandelier above it, a white marble shower and a large vanity.

The cybersecurity expert has yet to move into the one-acre property, which sits between Phoenix and Scottsdale, as Rihanna moved into the house because she was offered “crazy amounts of money” to sell the house, which she bought in 2022.
