Michael Olise has suffered another hamstring injury and is not expected to be available for some time, according to reports.

The Crystal Palace winger is yet to feature this season after being sidelined with a hamstring tear suffered while on international duty with France Under-21s in June.

He recovered well and neared a return in what would have been a huge boost for Palace boss Roy Hodgson, but is now set to miss more games, as reported by the Evening standard.

Olise has aggravated the hamstring injury during his rehabilitation and is expected to be out of action until after the October international break.

The 21-year-old will be assessed by Palace as they assess the extent of his injury and try to determine a timetable for when he will be available for selection.

Olise played for Palace last season, scoring two goals and impressing with his all-round play as the Eagles guided themselves to comfortable safety in the Premier League.

Chelsea pursued the France international and looked set to complete his move from Selhurst Park after the Blues activated his £35million release clause.

However, Olise made a U-turn and signed a new four-year contract with Palace but is yet to feature as she remains sidelined with a troublesome muscle complaint.

He was named Palace player of the season last year after assisting 11 goals in the Premier League during his breakthrough campaign at the club.

Olise is expected to miss the upcoming matches against Fulham, Manchester United and Nottingham Forest.
