- Emile Smith Rowe is the subject of interest from both Fulham and Crystal Palace
- Palace are set to make formal move after Fulham’s £30m bid was rejected
- Eddie Nketiah could also leave Arsenal as Marseille consider making a bid
Crystal Palace are keen to make an official offer for Arsenal star Emile Smith Rowe as the Gunners consider selling the playmaker.
The 23-year-old is regarded by Arsenal supporters as one of the best attackers in their academy, but has become frustrated by the lack of chances under Mikel Arteta.
Arsenal have already seen Fulham reject a £30million bid and Palace are now looking to beat the Cottagers to the battle for top talent.
However, it remains to be seen whether Arsenal are prepared to sell Smith Rowe, whose current contract at the Emirates Stadium still has two years to run.
The Englishman struggled with his fitness last season due to serious injuries, but the quality he showed during his 115 first-team appearances convinced both Palace and Fulham to make a move.

Mikel Arteta could lose some of his first-team stars to fund more new players this summer
Smith Rowe appears to be back in form as he scored in Arsenal’s opening pre-season friendly against League One side Leyton Orient on Saturday afternoon.
Meanwhile, one of his Arsenal team-mates could be set to move to France as Marseille closely monitor Eddie Nketiah’s situation after already signing Mason Greenwood.
Former Manchester United striker Greenwood could be joined at Marseille by Nketiah, who made just ten Premier League appearances for Arsenal last season.

Arsenal teenager Chido Obi Martin is set to leave the club after rejecting a contract offer
Marseille are keen for Nketiah and Greenwood to play alongside each other in a new attacking line following the departure of last season’s top scorer Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Nketiah hasn’t impressed as much as he would have liked in the last two league games, but he has scored important goals for Arteta, most notably in a 3-2 win over Man United in January 2023.
He also scored a hat-trick in last season’s 5-0 win over Sheffield United and Marseille are confident they can get the best out of the 25-year-old.
The Gunners are also on the verge of another departure, with teenager Chido Obi Martin set to leave the club after rejecting a contract offer. He is in talks with Manchester United, Newcastle United and Bayern Munich.
