Cruz Beckham accompanies the Spice Girls on guitar as he shares unseen video of the girl band reuniting to singer Mama at Victoria’s 50th bash

Cruz Beckham sent fans into a frenzy when he shared an unseen video of himself performing with the Spice Girls at his mother Victoria’s 50th birthday last month.

On Wednesday night, 19-year-old Cruz, who hopes to follow in his singer’s footsteps, took to Instagram to perform with the iconic girl band.

David and Victoria’s youngest son joined Mel B, Melanie C, Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell and his mother as they sang a snippet of their 1996 hit single Mama.

The video shows Cruz cheering on the legendary girl band as they sat in front of one microphone on stage, while he played guitar and sang with them.

The Spice Girls looked excited to be reunited at Oswald’s for the party as they threw their arms around each other and waved as they sang in front of the star-studded crowd.

After singing the chorus, the girl band started laughing and stopped singing, prompting Mel B to ask fellow guests, “Are we in tune?” I’m not sure that’s true.’

Cruz simply wrote: ‘You’re welcome…’

Fans quickly took to the comments to thank Cruz for sharing the clip, with some revealing they were in “tears” watching the video, while others begged for a “reunion tour.”

Later in the evening, the former band were seen singing their 1997 hit Stop together – in footage captured by David Beckham.

The former footballer could be seen with an excited smile on his face as the group showed off some dance moves while singing along to the lyrics.

In the caption of the post, David wrote to his followers: “I mean come on x @victoriabeckham @melaniecmusic @officialmelb @emmaleebunton @gerihalliwellhorner,” followed by colorful heart emojis.

Victoria – who later said reuniting with the band was the “best gift” – also shared the clip, writing “best night ever!” Happy birthday to me! I love you all so much! #Making your life more exciting’.

Social media users flocked to the comments section to share their thoughts on the reunion, with one tap: “The moment the entire planet has been waiting for.”

Another added: ‘David you are the best social media manager out there, thanks for giving people CONTENT.’

Earlier this year, it was reported that Cruz would be releasing his new music after signing a major management deal two years ago.

The youngster hopes to follow in the footsteps of his Spice Girls singer, as he regularly shares photos of his guitars and in the studio on social media.

Cruz has perfected his craft with some top industry professionals and the Beckham’s have spent a small fortune helping him create his sound with top songwriters.

Cruz has collaborated with writer Ed Frewett, who already has four No. 1 singles and has written Shout Out To My Ex and Black Magic for Little Mix, All Time Low and Glad You Came for The Wanted and Best Song Ever, Steal My Girl and History for One Direction.

He has also worked with producer Fred Ball, who has worked with Rihanna, Beyonce and Mariah Carey, and Joe Rubel, who has made records for Ed Sheeran.

A music insider told us The sun: ‘The plan is to launch this year to let people hear what he has been working so hard on for years.

“There’s a lot of excitement around him as a singer, but he’s also very aware that he really needs to prove himself so he doesn’t just get accused of being a nepo baby. That’s why he spent so long perfecting the music.

“A fortune has been spent getting him into rooms with the best minds in the business, and the results are promising.”

Last August, Victoria shared a video of her son Cruz showing off his musical talent.

Posh Spice showed the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree when she filmed her son playing guitar in Croatia.

Cruz sat on a stone wall by the sea in front of a beautiful sunset and played a beautiful rendition of The Beatles’ Here Comes The Sun.

Fans took to the comments, praising Victoria and David’s youngest son for his guitar skills.

One said: ‘Talented young man there!’ while another echoed: ‘Wow that’s incredible @cruzbeckham’.

This isn’t the first time Cruz has shown off his musical skills, having previously shared a video of himself playing the piano earlier this year.

The aspiring singer released festive single If Everyday Was Christmas in 2016 and hinted he might be working on new music in April when he shared a photo of himself in the recording studio.

The teenager has learned to play guitar, piano, drums and even mandolin, and says his focus is on “just making the music that I love.”

And it seems like Cruz has always been interested in music, because on his 18th birthday, his famous parents shared a series of throwback clips of their son singing and performing as a young child.

Last year, Cruz took the stage to perform in Miami with a rock band and reportedly signed with Tap Music, which previously managed Dua Lipa and a string of other big names, including Ellie Goulding and Lana del Ray.
