Cruel trolls tell me to shave my daughter’s head because she’s got three different types of hair
A mother has shared her daughter’s unique hair, which features three different types of locks, but cruel internet trolls are urging her to ‘shave her head’.
When 28-year-old Aleksandra Litric from Leskovac, Serbia, gave birth to little Sofija, everything seemed to be going according to plan. But that all changed after the toddler’s first birthday.
The brave toddler, now three years old, appeared to have mostly straight hair – but only on one side. The other side was covered in a mix of big loose curls and tight afro curls.
The tourism engineer shared clips of her daughter’s locks on TikTok to raise awareness, with one video receiving 1.4 million views and more than 32,000 likes.
Although most people are friendly, trolls have also emerged.

“Opinions are divided,” says Aleksandra, who has two other children with straight hair.
‘There are mainly positive reactions, but there are also people who say that Sofija’s hair is not beautiful and that we should shave her head.
“Most people are surprised and wonder why it is like this. They say they have never seen it before,” she added.
Although Sofija’s parents aren’t 100 percent sure why her hair grows like this, they think it’s because of her father, Dusan’s, mane.
Aleksandra added: ‘My husband has very thick and wavy hair. At first it was just one curl.
‘Now almost half of her head is covered. Sofia doesn’t have a condition, it’s just the way her hair is.
We don’t have [special treatments] and wash her hair with regular children’s shampoo and use conditioner to comb it.’
Users responded en masse to the comments and most people were impressed by her unique appearance.

Marija said, “She is a beautiful girl.” Another wrote, “Dear soul, it is a gift from God. May the sweet girl be healthy and alive.” “Very interesting,” Tabby said.
Unfortunately, other users are less kind. Some say she should shave her head.
Milica wrote: ‘What have you done to the child?’ Someone else said: ‘Make her bald and put a tight cap on her that she has to wear all the time until her hair grows 2 cm.’
“So cut it down to the head so you can see what kind of hair it is,” another user added.
