‘Cruel’ father criticized for controversial way he makes sure his children behave before Christmas
With just a few days left before Christmas, it’s safe to say that most kids are practically seething with excitement right now.
But in an attempt to prevent his home from falling into chaos this week, a stern father has revealed his controversial approach to keeping his children in line.
Earlier this month, UK TikTok user Benny went viral when he shared his “life hack” with parents.
He said: ‘With Christmas approaching, here is some important advice for parents.

‘Wrap up some empty boxes and pretend they are gifts.
“So every time one of those little sons of bitches misbehaves, throw him on the ground in front of them with a fucking stamp, and then throw him in the fire.”
The father then filmed himself setting his fire door on fire after throwing a ‘gift’.
He sarcastically captioned the clip: ‘I’ve combined two of my best tips into one easy to follow hack. Keep them under control this Christmas!’

The video has amassed more than 92,000 likes on TikTok and received mixed reactions from viewers who labeled it “cruel.”
Speaking from experience, one responded: ‘My dad did this, we started behaving after this.’
Another raged: ‘How to cause trauma to children.’
‘That’s the most wicked thing I’ve seen to date!’ wrote a third. “Shocking behavior from a father!!”

“If you need to do this to make your children behave, then the problem is not with the children,” said a surprised fourth viewer.
However, others questioned whether the father was serious in his suggestion and pointed out obvious flaws in his plan.
“All fun and games until you throw the new phone in there,” mused one.
“My dad did this but he put the wrong gift in,” another claimed. ‘It was my xBox. I didn’t talk to him for two months.
