Crown Prince Hussein has called his new wife the “light of his life” as he thanked the public for their outpouring of love on his wedding day.
Jordan’s future king, 28, married high-flying architect Rajwa Al Saif, 29, in an intimate ceremony at Zahran Palace in Amman yesterday afternoon.
Following this brief service, King Abdullah II and Queen Rania hosted a lavish reception at Al Husseiniya Palace, attended by more than 1,700 guests, including the Prince and Princess of Wales.
Earlier in the day, the newlywed shared an enthusiastic post with his 4.3 million followers, thanking them for their support on his big day.
The prince posted a picture of him and Rajwa standing in the grounds of Zahran Palace, staring at each other lovingly.

While Hussein looked dapper in his military uniform, the bride was a vision in a custom Ellie Saab dress.
The groom gushed, “God has blessed me with Rajwa, the light of my life and my lifelong companion. May our marriage bring us both peace and warmth. I pray that God continues to bless us.
Once again, my deepest thanks to everyone who celebrated with us from our beloved Jordan, as well as our family and loved ones from around the world.
“I couldn’t be more grateful to God for the countless blessings He has bestowed on me today, and Rajwa for all she is to me.”
Speaking to Vogue Arabia earlier this year, Crown Prince Hussein revealed they were introduced by a friend who also attended the exclusive King’s Academy in Jordan.
He said, ‘I met Rajwa through an old friend from school. I count myself lucky, because it’s not every day you meet someone like Rajwa.’
What’s more, Hussein’s mother, Queen Rania, 52, also posted a collection of photos of her photogenic family during the lavish celebrations.

Crown Prince Hussein and his new wife Raa kicked off their lavish celebration by hopping into a bespoke open-top white Range Rover before tucking into a seven-layer cake.
It was one of the biggest weddings of the season so far, with the ceremony watched by a star-studded guest list that included the members of Europe’s royal families, foreign dignitaries and celebrities.
After the ceremony, the newlyweds emerged in a custom-built Range Rover, accompanied by several bright red Land Rovers, motorcycles and a military marching band.
