Cross-dressing child sex predator on the run from cops after evading capture in Idaho
A male sexual predator who dresses as a child is on the run from police in Oregon after managing to evade authorities in neighboring Idaho.
Christian Bert Fischer, 42, is wanted in Florida after allegedly traveling to meet a child he met online and convinced them to meet him.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office in Oregon explained their beliefs Fischer, who has ties to Southern Oregon, dressed as a woman and is now on the run after evading arrest by police in Coeur D’alene, Idaho, last week.
Fischer was on trial in Hernando County, Florida, when he failed to appear in court on the second day of court.

The US Marshals Service (USMS) says Fischer fled Florida the same day and that he had condoms, lube, rope, narcotics and other sexual items with him at the time.
Researchers discovered that he first went to California and then moved up the coast to Portland, Oregon and then into northern Idaho.
It is believed that Fischer traveled under a fictitious name and used cash to pay for the costs, to prevent his credit cards from giving away his location.
It also appears that he is trying his luck with families in the North Idaho area, as he has tried to befriend a number of people in the area who all have children.
Fischer was last seen in Athol, Idaho, carving pumpkins with an unknown family.
Fischer is described as a white male, 6 feet tall, with blond hair and blue eyes.

So far the family he was with has not been identified, but anyone who may have had contact with Fischer is urged to contact police.

The Hernando County Crime Stoppers in Florida is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading directly to Fischer’s arrest.
After skipping his trial, a warrant was issued for failure to appear and Fischer was eventually convicted in absentia for traveling to meet a child.
The Florida court now awaits his arrest and return for formal sentencing.
