The Portuguese superstar made his debut for his new club in a 1-0 win over Al-Ettifaq.

And in the video that was released by his new club following the win, Ronaldo is the headline feature with the newly appointed Al-Nassr captain creating a great deal of excitement among the club’s fans in the behind-the-scenes clip.

Several supporters were seen turning up to the game wearing various Ronaldo jerseys, while some carried Portuguese flags with them, in a show of support for their new signing.

After leaving the team’s coach, Ronaldo was filmed doing various stretches and exercises in the locker room to relax, before heading out to warm up with his Al-Nassr teammates.

Mrsool Park, Al-Nassr’s home stadium, displayed ‘GO’ as Ronaldo went out to warm up

The 37-year-old was seen getting ready in the dressing room and cheering on his teammates.

As he ran out, the opposite side of his new home, Mrsool Park, displayed ‘VAMOS’ on the seats, translated from Portuguese as ‘let’s go’.

Al-Nassr boss Rudi Garcia went over the tactics with the team and Ronaldo greeted all his teammates before kick-off as he tried to cheer them on as their new captain.

He then led his team out of the tunnel, before the highlights of the first half are shown on video, including Talisca’s goal.

After being named captain of Al-Nassr, Ronaldo tried to cheer up his new colleagues.

With Al-Nassr leading 1-0 at half-time, Ronaldo passed on some words of wisdom to his new colleagues, before video showed the players leaving for the second half.

After the Saudi Pro League side held on to win against their counterparts, the 37-year-old seemed happy when he returned to the locker room, and Garcia later spoke to his players to give them his thoughts on the game full-time.

The result leaves Al-Nassr at the top of the table, one point clear of arch-rivals Al-Hilal, as Ronaldo aims to win his 32nd career trophy.
