Cristiano Ronaldo scored a late penalty to send Al-Nassr to the final of the Arab Club Champions Cup with a 1-0 win over Iraqi side Al-Shorta.
The Portuguese star scored in the 75th minute to send his team to the final for the first time and he now has a chance at his first piece of silverware with the Saudi club.
He has scored four goals in four games and is on form at the right time as the Saudi Pro League season kicks off this weekend.
Al-Nassr will play their tournament final on Saturday before heading to Dammam to face Jordan Henderson’s Steven Gerrard and Al-Ettifaq.
Bizarrely, he was also awarded the league’s top scorer’s trophy, despite having one game left to play.
