Cristiano Ronaldo ‘reaches out to TWO former Real Madrid team-mates in bid to persuade them to join him at Al-Nassr’… as the forward looks to help his side’s Saudi Pro League fortunes
According to a report, Cristiano Ronaldo has contacted two of his former teammates in an attempt to convince them to join him at Al-Nassr.
The forward has battled for success on the pitch since moving to the Saudi Pro League 18 months ago. He failed to win a major trophy despite enjoying the luxuries of life off the pitch in the Middle East.
His side have finished second in the league twice since his arrival, most recently losing to Al-Hilal by a staggering margin of fourteen points in the 2023/24 season.
On Friday, the 39-year-old was moved to tears as his side lost to the same team in the King Cup final, with Al-Nassr suffering a penalty shootout defeat after drawing the match 1-1 in normal time.
According to MarcaRonaldo is keen to help strengthen his squad and has contacted two players he worked with at Real Madrid directly to make that happen.

The outlet reports that Manchester United man Casemiro, who played for Madrid between 2013 and 2022, has spoken to Ronaldo about the possibility of joining him in Saudi Arabia.
The duo won a number of titles together in Madrid, including four Champions Leagues, and also spent a few months working together again at Manchester United before Ronaldo left midway through the 2022-2023 season.
It is believed that Ronaldo, who has a great amount of power in the decisions made at Al-Nassr, believes the Brazilian will add the consistency his side needs to overtake Al-Hilal, who have not lost a single match in the competition. Season 2023-24.
