Cristiano Ronaldo MISSES Al-Nassr’s Saudi Pro League clash after his partner Georgina Rodriguez revealed she had been released from hospital following four-day stay with health battle
Cristiano Ronaldo was a notable absentee in the 3-3 draw with Al-Nassr in the Saudi Pro League on Friday evening after his partner Georgina Rodriguez was released from hospital.
Rodriguez revealed that she spent four days in the hospital with pneumonia and informed her fans on social media that she is on the mend as she continues her recovery at home.
Ronaldo, who played in the previous two matches for his club last week, missed the stalemate against Al Kholood in the bottom half.
The Sun reported that Rodriguez had been admitted to the Saudi German Hospital in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where she is based with Ronaldo.
The influencer and model have been working with the Portuguese superstar since 2016 after meeting at a Gucci store in Madrid.

On her Instagram Story, Rodriguez opened up about the news and thanked the staff for their help
They have two children together, while Ronaldo has three other children from previous relationships.
Rodriguez said in a social media post: “Finally back home! I was in the hospital for four days with pneumonia. I’m doing better now, but I’m still recovering at home with my family.
‘I would like to say a huge THANK YOU to all the staff, doctors, nurses and everyone at the hospital… they took such wonderful care of me and I am very grateful for that.
‘Thank you all for such a wonderful stay.’
When Ronaldo joined Al-Nassr in January 2023, it was reported that they, alongside Rodriguez, were given permission by the kingdom’s rulers to live together.
This was an exception to the rule that unmarried couples are not allowed to live together in Saudi Arabia.
Meanwhile speaking in the drawerIn the test season of her hit Netflix reality show ‘I Am Georgina’, Rodriguez revealed how excited she was when she heard Ronaldo would be moving to the Middle East at the end of 2022.

“When Cris told me he was going to play for Al-Nassr, I was so relieved because I really wanted to leave Manchester,” Rodriguez said.
Rodriguez added: “I knew something big was waiting for us and we were very motivated. I was very happy to come to Saudi Arabia.”
However, the couple and their children’s transition to life in Saudi Arabia did not go smoothly.
“It all happened so quickly,” Rodriguez said. ‘I had some ups and downs at first, because we had never lived in a hotel for so long. There were days when I didn’t want anyone to see me, but overall I was very excited.”
