Cristiano Ronaldo Jr spotted in a Man United shirt on Georgina Rodriguez’s Instagram post despite dad’s acrimonious exit… but which current star does he have on the back?
Cristiano Ronaldo Jr. seems so enthralled with a Manchester United star that he even wears the player’s shirt while doing his homework.
In a photo shared by his mother Georgina Rodriguez on Instagram, the 14-year-old was seen studying at a table with the player’s name and number on his back.
Ronaldo’s eldest son has followed his father wherever he has played, including for Juventus, Manchester United and Al-Nassr’s academies.
Portuguese legend Ronaldo has previously said that he will not pressure his son to take up football, but all signs so far show that he is a lover of the beautiful game.
And it looks like Ronaldo Jr. is a fan of Alejandro Garnacho, as it is the twenty-year-old’s shirt that he put on during his homework session.

That will certainly be heart-warming for Garnacho, who has previously expressed his admiration for the 39-year-old Ronaldo. They were teammates at United and played in six games together in 2022.
Garnacho was on cloud nine after featuring alongside Ronaldo in a 3-0 Europa League win over Sheriff for United in October 2022, writing: ‘I don’t know if it’s real or if I’m dreaming.’
He also posted a photo of them from the match in which Ronaldo has his arm around his shoulder.
That match was Garnacho’s debut and he could not have imagined many more special events than playing alongside Ronaldo at Old Trafford.
After assisting the icon against Real Sociedad in the same competition, he wrote: ’18 years and 125 days of dreaming of this moment. Thank you idol, Cristiano.”
Earlier this season, young Argentine star Garnacho liked a social media post detailing Ronaldo’s criticism of Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag.
“The coach of Manchester United cannot say that they cannot compete every year to win the Premier League and the Champions League,” Ronaldo told FIVE, in quotes shared by journalist Fabrizio Romano and then liked by Garnacho.

Ronaldo further suggested that Ten Hag should seek advice from his assistant Ruud van Nistelrooy about United’s values.
Ronaldo said: ‘If ten Hag listens to Ruud van Nistelrooy… maybe he can help. He knows the club and the club has to listen to the guys who were there because this is very important.
‘Rio Ferdinand, Roy Keane, Paul Scholes, Gary Neville, Sir Alex Ferguson… you need advice from these people. You cannot rebuild a club without knowledge.’
