The YouTube star-turned-boxer will step into the ring against Fury, Tyson’s brother, in Saudi Arabia on Sunday night after the better part of two years of constant bickering between the pair.
With Saudi Arabia having won the battle to host the fight, which is expected to generate huge pay-per-view interest, Ronaldo has been spotted inside the arena within hours of the bell ringing.
The great and good of the region and boxing were in attendance, with Mike Tyson, Deontay Wilder and world heavyweight champion Fury all watching from ringside.
Ronaldo, who earns a staggering £173m a year in Saudi Arabia, was featured by UK host broadcaster BT Sport alongside his son, Cristiano Jr.

It had been confirmed a few days before that the Portuguese would attend the fight, by Piers Morgan. Seemingly unfazed by his old club Manchester United’s victory in the League Cup final on Sunday afternoon, Ronaldo arrived early as the stadium was beginning to fill up.
The arena hosting the fight only seats about 8,000 and was built specifically in two weeks for the fight.
It is yet another indicator of Saudi Arabia’s desire to become one of the major players in the sport, along with other countries in the region such as Qatar.
The move to sign Ronaldo was approved by the ruling family, while the Portuguese took on an ambassadorial role as part of his multi-million dollar contract with Al-Nassr.

Deontay Wilder was one of the other notable names attending the fight in Saudi Arabia.
Jake Paul and Tommy Fury have traded near-constant barbs for the better part of two years.
They did extensive promotion in Saudi Arabia ahead of the highly anticipated fight on Sunday.
Mike Tyson was among boxing royalty watching perhaps one of the most controversial fights in recent memory.
Other notable bouts that have taken place in the country include two for Anthony Joshua, including a win over Andy Ruiz in 2019 and a loss to Oleksandr Usyk last summer. The country has also been proposed as a venue for Tyson Fury’s world heavyweight unification fight with the Ukrainian later this year.
Having endured a somewhat difficult start to life in the country, Ronaldo has brought the Saudi Pro League with him how many expected.
In his last four games for the club, he has scored eight goals and assisted another two.
That included four goals against Al-Wehda earlier this month, while Saturday saw him score a hat-trick against Damac.
Al-Nassr is currently the leader of the Saudi Pro League with 18 games played in the season.
