Cristiano Ronaldo and his Al-Nassr teammates have appeared in a new video wearing traditional Saudi clothing and carrying swords.

The 38-year-old Ronaldo only moved to Saudi Arabia in December last year, but has already established himself in the Middle East with ease.

The forward scored seven goals from his first five games of the Saudi Pro League season and won the Golden Boot as his side lifted the Arab Club Champions Cup.

And both on and off the pitch, the global superstar has established himself off the pitch in Saudi Arabia, which he demonstrated with his brief cameo in the video.

The Portuguese superstar, along with teammates like Sadio Mane and Talisca, appeared in traditional Saudi clothing as he danced along at the end of the video.

In the video, Ronaldo and teammates such as Sadio Mane (R) appear in traditional Saudi clothing ahead of the Saudi National Day on September 23.

The clip, posted on Al-Nassr’s social media account, shows three children making their way through the club’s stadium and seeing a number of stars involved in traditional activities.

At the end of the video, Ronaldo appears – alongside Mane – in a black bisht and a white thobe, while the ex-Liverpool star wore a gold-colored bisht with a white thobe.

Marcelo Brozovic, Otavio, Talisca and Alex Telles were also featured in the video.

The caption of the video on Twitter read: “All together. For one flag. We Dream, and Achieve’, followed by a number of emojis.

With the Saudi National Day taking place on Saturday, it is likely that the video is related to the festivities taking place this weekend.

Al-Nassr were one of the few teams not in action on Thursday evening, as part of a busy schedule of Saudi Pro League matches.

N’Golo Kante opened his Al-Ittihad goalscoring account in emphatic fashion that evening after scoring a screamer from long range in their 2-1 league win on Thursday evening.

The French midfielder, who secured a free move to the Saudi team in June, was the all-important winner for his side against Al Fateh FC.

Kante, 32, collected the ball on the edge of the penalty area just before half-time, before unleashing a shot on goal that flew off the crossbar and into the net.

Elsewhere in the competition, Neymar and Al-Hilal played out a 1-1 draw against Damac FC.

The former Barcelona and PSG star could not make a difference for his team after goals from Nicolae Stanciu and Malcom.

In perhaps the most exciting match of the evening, former Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum scored a brace during Al-Ettifaq’s 4–3 win over Al Taee.
