- Healy has opened up about Starc cheating on him
Two-time Cricketer of the Year Alyssa Healy has lifted the lid on the light-hearted moment when husband Mitchell Starc left her feeling totally betrayed.
The Australian sporting power couple – who married in 2016 and have both excelled for their country – are known for being very competitive off the field, going so far as to host an annual golf event they call the ‘Stealy Cup’.
But it was a simple evening of watching TV that left Healy feeling like her husband had cheated on her.
“We started watching Billions or something like that together and we were like, ‘Oh, we’re at home, let’s watch it together. This will be great,'” she told the Separate bedrooms podcast.

The couple (pictured at the 2020 Cricket Australia Awards) have strived to keep their relationship separate from their sporting careers
“I went out – I think I went to hockey practice or something – and came home and there’s Mitch sitting on the couch watching it without me.
‘I’ve never felt so betrayed in my life.
“I think I literally said I wished I walked in and there was another woman there because I actually find this so much worse.”
“We kind of put that aside. I was a little nervous about going there again, I thought, you know what, I’m not going to go through this again – but we are.
“When we’re at home, we often watch similar shows in an evening, but we don’t watch Netflix or anything like that together, that’s for touring… and then we compare notes later.”
Healy previously revealed the one romantic rule she and Starc always stick to when competing on the golf course.
Healy lightheartedly revealed that she was cheated on by her husband when he watched one of their favorite TV shows without her
The two-time Cricketer of the Year said she would like to take over as Aussie captain after Meg Lanning’s retirement
‘We do have a rule that you have to hug after the 18th hole, regardless of what happens on those 18 holes. We’ll cuddle and have a beer,” she said in January this year.
She also explained how their competitiveness can get a little out of hand.
‘Mitch’s best man at our wedding is my batting coach and he owns an indoor cricket center and we both went to training one evening when Mitch was at home, we thought we would have a hit together but we got banned from the center because we both “I kept trying to hit the ball too hard,” she said.
“We’re way too competitive, it got a bit dangerous, so we haven’t done it that often since. I’m not so sure I’d feel comfortable facing a six-foot Mitch bowler at 90mph.”
The couple put their $9 million mansion on Sydney’s northern beaches up for sale earlier this month.
Located in North Curl Curl, 17km from the CBD, the four-bedroom, three-bathroom ultra-modern pad offers stunning ocean views and was designed by prestigious architect Koichi Takada and built by former Miss Universe Jennifer Hawkins and her husband Jake Wall .
